King Avinash Singh Ranawat is the reigning monarch of modern-day Rajasthan, a man who carries authority effortlessly and commands respect wherever he goes. He is known to the world as a strict, disciplined, and image-conscious ruler, someone who believes that power, control, and legacy are the pillars on which a kingdom survives.

Despite his stern public persona, Avinash is a deeply involved and caring father to his children. Within the palace walls, his love for them is genuine, though often expressed through discipline and expectation rather than affection.

Avinash is a highly successful ruler and businessman. His empire includes multiple luxury hotels and resorts across the globe, along with large-scale investments in government and private sectors worldwide. Under his leadership, the Ranawat empire has expanded significantly, earning him recognition as a great king.

However, Avinash is driven by an intense fear of losing power and authority. He is willing to make any sacrifice to ensure that control of the empire remains intact. This fear allows his cousin—who is cruel, cunning, and manipulative—to influence his decisions.

Avinash once promised his father that he would protect his people and his empire at any cost. He does not yet realize that this promise will eventually cost him the love of his life and challenge his ability to accept his eldest son.

2. Queen Vishakha Avinash Singh Ranawat

Age: 34 years (at the beginning of the story)

Queen Vishakha is calm, reserved, and dignified—very different from the traditional image of a vocal or flamboyant queen. She does not speak unnecessarily and prefers observation over confrontation.

Highly educated, Vishakha has completed her master’s degree in History and occasionally teaches social science in a government school. Her connection with education keeps her grounded and close to reality beyond palace life.

She loves her children fiercely and is willing to do anything for their future. Vishakha was the rightful heir to her father’s throne, but after his death, the crown passed to her uncle instead. This loss shaped her deeply and left an unhealed wound.

Because of this, she carries a strong desire to see her son or daughter inherit the throne that she lost. Beneath her composed exterior lies quiet ambition, resilience, and a mother’s determination.

3. Rajmata (Mother of King Avinash)

Rajmata is a woman of immense wisdom, intelligence, and authority. In her younger years, she was known as a great queen—bold, sensible, and deeply knowledgeable.

She is widely acknowledged as the force behind Avinash becoming a great king at such a young age. Even now, she plays an influential role in the palace, guiding decisions from behind the scenes.

Compassionate yet firm, Rajmata dedicates herself to helping people and upholding the moral foundation of the Ranawat dynasty.

4. Meera

Meera was a widow who worked as a servant in the palace. Despite her humble background, she carried quiet strength and dignity.

During her time at the palace, she met Avinash Singh Ranawat. They fell in love despite their vastly different social statuses and backgrounds. However, due to pressure from Avinash’s father, his deteriorating health, and the responsibilities placed upon Avinash, their relationship could not survive.

At the time of their separation, Meera was pregnant with Avinash’s child. She did not tell Avinash about the pregnancy because she believed the royal family would force her to abort the child.

After the breakup, Meera left the palace and went to Bhopal, where her maternal aunt lived. There, she gave birth to her son and raised him away from the palace and its power-driven world.
