5. Raghav
Age: 12 years (at the beginning of the story)
Raghav is the illegitimate son of King Avinash Singh Ranawat and Meera. He was born and raised away from the palace and remains unaware of his royal lineage.
His existence is the result of a love that could not withstand royal responsibility, societal pressure, and fear of power loss. His identity remains hidden, but the truth of his birth has the potential to shake the foundations of the Ranawat empire.
6. Children of King Avinash and Queen Vishakha
Aarav Singh Ranawat
Age: 7 years
Position: Eldest legitimate child
Aarav is unusually mature for his age. He is calm, responsible, and observant, shaped early by the expectations placed upon him as the eldest child of the Ranawat family.
He loves his siblings deeply and is extremely protective of them. At school, he shields them from strangers and bullying, always stepping forward before anyone can hurt them.
This protective nature was born from his own painful experience. Once, Aarav was bullied by seniors at school. During that vulnerable phase, he wished desperately for an elder brother or sisterβsomeone who could have protected him.
That moment changed him. Aarav became what he once needed.
Despite his strength, Aarav carries a quiet sadness. He has always wanted an elder sibling so that the responsibilities and expectations placed on him would not have fallen entirely on his shoulders. He often feels burdened by the role of being the eldest, forced to grow up too soon.
Roohi Singh Ranawat
Age: 5 years
Twin (younger by minutes)
Roohi is gentle, emotional, and deeply sensitive. She understands emotions instinctively and often senses tension even when no one speaks.
She is very attached to her brothers, especially Aarav, and finds comfort in his presence. Roohi avoids confrontation and prefers silence when overwhelmed.
She represents emotional softness in the Ranawat household.
Ruhan Singh Ranawat
Age: 5 years
Twin (elder to Roohi)
Ruhan is energetic, curious, and outspoken. He is bold and expressive, often questioning rules and boundaries.
Though he pretends to be fearless, he deeply admires Aarav and tries to imitate his strength. Ruhan seeks validation and wants to prove himself worthy of his royal identity.
Athrav Singh Ranawat
Age: 3 years
Athrav is the youngest and most protected child of the family. Innocent and unaware of power, responsibility, or legacy, he brings warmth and light into the palace.
Everyone instinctively shields him, especially Aarav, who treats him as a responsibility entrusted to him.
